A friend gave me her camera (a Nikon Coolpix S220) to try to fix. Her friend ( for how much longer, I don't know
) dropped it. It was on, and the lens was out. I think it fell on the lens. It doesn't even turn on now, although I am not sure if the battery is charged or not (rechargeable LiON).
Anyways, I took it apart earlier tonight and I couldn't to where I needed to be. I was trying to be exceedingly gentle, as I didn't want to make anything worse. So has anyone had any experience taking cameras, particularly Nikons or even the S220, apart? Any advice you guys could give me? I can post pictures of the camera's guts the next time I take it apart. I put it back together because I was tired of fooling with it for one night and I didn't want to lose anything, of course.
