-Poor customer service
I think you summarized the advantages, and disadvantages of the Xbox 360 good... Welcome to the forum!

I can't stand the "360", Constant problems and malfuntion. It hasn't got the most people online and it isn't the best for violent games. The X-Box & PS3 both have there games, they both have frequent game releases and as for the "Best for shooters"? Well that depends on the persons tastes.

+most violent games so what?
+frequent game releases because it's harder to develop on PS3
+Halo
-Frequently defectiveactually quite dependable, most breakage occurs through the owners falt of missuse/abuse
-Pay to use online because microsoft actaully has people moderate xbox live, PS. it's exceptionaly cheap, sa low as $5 a month & 16 cent a day
-Poor backwards compatability compared to what? ps3 and wii? seriously, with the frequent game release i dont have time to play back.compat. games. much less do i find them entertainingmuch any more...
-Poor customer service compared to PS3? have you ever tried to return a defective PS3, im told it doesnt work as well and takes forever. however while you may have to wait a while to get a CS person, it only takes around 3-5 days to get your 360 repaired and sent back.
let me add to your list a bit...
+ best online services
+ faster loading times
+ easier development of games because of processor type
-RRoD
+RRoD can be easily prevented and CS will provide instanlty replace any of them for free with in
5 years of you purchase
-only games with an expectedly high purchas yeald look exceptionaly great, but the same for any other console

He added those as beneficial features for the xbox, and you're arguing them aiming for the same end result from the point. Nice.

im not arguing with them, i just find that making simple additions to a list invites fanboy-ness.
though for one, i didnt quite understand how more violent games can be a +. i personally like more realisticly gory games. more violent induces the image of GTA, with are notorious for their level of lowness they will go to suprise, discust, or just down right tramatize their players.
but more gory games dont nessisarily have to be violent, for examples games like Doom 3 and it's older sequils. doom is noted for being one of the most gory games to ever come out with but the older games werent vary violent at all. you jsut ran around solving puzzles, and had to shoot monsters every so often.
Yeah, well when that built in blu-ray takes a dump on you let us know...

+Decent backwards compatability on older models
+Near indestructable (original not slim)
+Blueray/DVD player
-Its REALLY Heavy (original)
-Expensive (recently dropped a bit)
-games not released as frequent as XBOX
yes, well good job, you've managed to sum up the pros and cons of both systems in one post containing less than 150 words... despite my personal view that this is effectively impossible, you manage to prove me wrong.
ok, so that's it, thread over.

Add best particle lighting to that list, the 360 excels at great lighting textures and natural fit controllers
"Best" is such a horrible word.

That depends upon what someone is referring to and whether or not you agree with it.

Exactly.
There are too many "gotchas" which makes it a horrible description word.
So I take it that you disagree with him?
I wouldn't say that I disagree, just that I can't agree as I have not explored all of those options on the 360. I just think that "Best" should be backed with numbers &/or statistics, & not personal experience.
Some features of xbox are:
1) Best for Shooters
2) Frequent game releases
3) Frequently defective
4) Cheaper
5) Digital Entertainment.
6) Personalize console.
I recently had the latest Xbox-360 and have to say it was pretty good, it seem they have gotten rid of all there defective problems
