Moved to the proper forum. Sorry I hadn't created it when you posted your topic!
Seeing as our rating system only goes to 5, I will rate on a 1-5 scale and give the stars accordingly. Definitely 5'd. Why don't you post some pictures?
I would have no qualms with using it. Smile However, your own computer always seems the most comfortable, at least to me as a web designer and computer "geek". Tongue
High dollar rig, Wish I had one.Angel
Acctually cheap believe it or not, I managed to get some help sourcing the parts and all together was about £750 but don't know how much that is in Dollars?
That would be a little over $1,200.

Wow, I paid about $1,500 for my machine and Spartan got way better equipment for less.
True, but when did you buy yours?

That was probably about a year or two before Vista, right? I think computer specs started really going up about the time of Vista because of it's resource-hogging nature.
Yeah you probably paid more because you got it a few years ago, I got mine this year and so the parts have went down in price. I mean I got the Quad Core 2.83Ghz 12Mb L2 Cache and a 1333Mhz Fsb for only £140, That's amazing in my eyes and it's all because of the new I7's. Now the I7's have been released we have seen a big fall in prices. What I thought was funny though was my Proccessor was £140 for the 2.83 but the 3Ghz version is a mind blowing £120 more expensive for a small increase of 0.17Ghz, I mean why pay that when it can be acheived by a slight overclock?
Very nice computer build! The only thing I don't like is the fact that it's an Intel MB. AMD always seems to be the best CPU especially for gaming. At least that was my experience with the older Intel processors. It's amazing how much the prices have dropped on computer parts in the past few years. Can build a top of the line gaming system for around $1000 dollars. I can still play the newer computer games on max resolution, and graphics without any lag. Recently had to replace a fried motherboard, hard-drive, power supply, and 512mb RAM stick.
Well what gave me my motivation was Crysis, I mean it's the most resource hogging game out there so I built a PC with Crysis in mind. I wanted to Max it out at my Res with full AA and over 60fps. I can now do all that but with 58Fps lol
Went to Wal-mart this afternoon, and was looking at the video games. Crysis was one of the few I was even considering buying. What are the graphics of Crysis like compared to say FEAR? I was say that's the highest graphics game installed on my PC right now. They really haven't made that many good computer games lately...
i heard that crysis had way efing good graphics. i also heard it's one of the most demanding games on the market. if you got the power, it's deffinatly a game to get.

i'd post some statistics on my computer but i really just got it and dont know what they all are. i know it has a 320 Gb HD and 2.0 ghz processor, with 1024 Mb ram. but thats about it.
Ok, Crysis is the most powerful and Graphicaly stunning game there is. If you are comparing F.E.A.R to Crysis then there really is no compitition, The Water, Tree's, Backgrounds and most of all the people them selfs acctually look real. When I first seen the Graphics I was like WOW. No other game compares, also the PS3 cannot run Crysis on the Lowest settings at the lowest Res. That's how demanding it really is, here is the recomended spec:

Core 2 Duo 2.2Ghz
1.5Gb Ram
8800GTS

Thats to play the game with average settings, if you wanna max it out then "YouGamers" and I would recomend no lower than:

Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4Ghz
2Gb Ram
9800GTX

I mean If you look at my system:

Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83Ghz
4Gb Ram
XFX GTX260 Overclocked Black Edition Extreme

and I get about 58Fps average with everything and AA maxed, to get over 60Fps then you would have to get a GTX295 which is the only card more powerful than mine and costs £200 extra
sweet, another 3 Gb of ram and a huge graphics card update, i could play it on my desktop!
I believe I would have to have a completely new computer.
