Still miss the sportcoupe, but I'm enjoying the C32... Thought I would post up some photographs of my previous Mercedes-benz. It had a 2.3lt inline four cylinder supercharged engine. I had the engine nearly maxed out in modifications. For those of you who don't know it was totaled in an accident when some Honda hit me at stop going around 50MPH. I was also rear ended once before that by a Jeep. The car was repaired but I had several very annoying problems after the accident, and insurance wouldn't cover repairs beyond the body damage. I bought it for 7.2k with 90k miles, and insurance gave me 12.3k for the total loss at 124k miles. Bought my c32 for 12.5k at 83k miles...

The engine was so loud when I was done with it! The C32 has an electromagnetic clutch that keeps the supercharger disengaged until boost is needed. The Sportcoupe supercharger had an air bypass but was always belt driven.

I know you miss that car. How long ago was that now? How did the C230 compare to your C32?

Coming up on two years here in a while. The C230 was fun, but does not compare to the C32...
