PR Or Alexa?

Which one provides the most detail to the quality of your site and affects the amount of visits the most. Also, which really makes a difference in the way of users, and the way of value of the site, if you were ever to make a sale of the site?
I think PR is more important, since that will have an impact on how you are ranked in Google's searches. However, you could make the argument that Alexa ranking is more important for technology sites like this one, as people with the Alexa toolbar are more likely to be technologically savvy, and tech-savvy people are the kinds of people those sites would target.
ummm, what is that? Could you please clarify?
Thanks for your ideas.

How do you concentrate on building PR.. What are the ways to help build PageRank for a forum site?
Townsbg, you probably know what PR is, right? This is Alexa: http://www.alexa.com/company
Alexa rankings is based on user-page views, and is used mainly to see how many users you get from a country.. Which ranks you against other websites!
Thank you for clarifying.
Is that what you wanted information on.. I think you know what PR would be correct?
Public relations?
Google PageRank...

Yes, good old PageRank... I guess the better you PR the more a search engine will sponsor you, or something?
PR is a measurement of how much Google thinks your page is relevant. Basically, it's Google's idea of how "important" your page is. It doesn't really do anything, but I think it's one of many, many factors of how high you're ranked for different search results.
What are those factors you are thinking of?
As previously pointed out PR = Google Page Rank, & Alexa is "Windows" users that accept the Alexa spyware to monitor their viewing on your website.

Both are "one way" viewed statistics & do not offer any real value to your website, unless someone looking to purchase your site or your domain name actually care about mindless visitors. Any one that actually cares about constant traffic will look at the statistics & logs from the web server software.

PR Ranking is based on the (PR) value of incoming links to your site, compared to the amount of links that you have going out. So if you have hundres of good links, & no bad ones, then you will have a higher PR value than someone whom is linked with low, poor, PR Rated sites (usually spam/scam sites or link farms).

For example, I run Webalizer on our Apache servers, & you can see an example of the provided statics here
No2 is right, visitor statistics are what matters. TechnoFyed uses webalizer and modlogan to gather traffic data.
