When I press Ctrl+alt+delete i am not able to open task manage in my windows xp. It says Admin have disable my access to task manager but I am logged in as an admin. whats the problem?
I've seen this problem before on some computers I've repaired. When I've seen it before, the problem has been caused by viruses. First scan your drive for viruses. Then you will need to repair the registry keys. I had a printout one time of steps to take to fix the registry keys, but I can't find it at the moment. I will try to find it and get back to you.
I found it, but I Googled it and quoted it so I wouldn't have to retype it. Tongue

Warning: Modifying your registry can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system.

b. Navigate to the following registry keys and verity that following settings set to default:

"DisableTaskMgr"=dword:00000000

Actually you should have bought antivirus a long time ago. Tongue

I would agree with what GT4AWD said in another thread: You might want to reinstall your operating system.
This is available in the software I was talking about here.

The idea being we could say "Oh, you have this issue, try running this & let us know!".
