Anyone got Crysis? I love this game but not just the graphics, the whole game is just a breakthrough in my eyes. It's the best FPS I have played but the online multiplayer is lacking in descent servers and there is alot of cheating at the moment, I mean don't you just hate when you Spawn but then straight away your dead? I mean why even play the game?
I wish I had time to play games , I relay love them . But I hardly have time to post here.

Spartan, I have never played Crysis but I remember playing the Halo trial when the host would have a tank, and nobody could get him out of it. It was most distressing, and got boring after a few minutes of being constantly slaughtered.
Ive spent months pounding keys trying different strategies to try and gain an advantage over another opponent in a game, but theres a lot of people that can do that with just a few key strokes running some sophisticated soft ware, and thats just not right. the difference is the feeling you get when you've leaned the game with out cheating.
Well I find modding maps and such fun when you're playing with friends and they all have the mod, but what's the point in having such a huge advantage like when you cheat? It's like challenging the grass with a riding lawnmower - easy, but not very fun.
Yea the cheating gets a little ridiculous sometimes.. Its also pretty sad how hard the game makers are trying to get rid of it and failing so miserably. O and by the way if anyone shouldn't be wasting time posting its me... well.. wenger might be close...
It's just dissapointin, why can't we live in a world without cheats and be able to enjoy the games the way they were supposed to be

Especially compared to what you were telling me about on Facebook last night.
The only game I ever cheated on was Devil May Cry 3 for the PS2 on Hard mode, because the end fight with Virgil was immposible lol

haha.. i dont cheat dude.. that was boosting a long time ago.. and it just made you have to play a new game.. no harm to you just gain for me..
and that was like.. when halo 3 first came out.
and about cheating offline.. i have done that a lot... but it makes things boring quickly.. like in sims with the cheat to gain 1000 simoleans or whatever.. i killed that so i could make the biggest houses with the best stuff... just to see what i could do.. then i didnt even play the game. just built houses. made it way too boring.

Well didn't everyone do that to The Sims? And did you ever mess around with the "move objects=on" cheat? That was kinda neat, but it could mess up your game if you weren't careful.
There's a big difference between cheating to beat a single player game, and using hacks to win multiplayer online video games. The software developers of these games invest a lot attempting to prevent any type of hacks online. It's apparently an endless battle although I don't see how... Cheating really does destroy the entire point of online gaming. Steam has done a good job trying to make Counter-strike:Source hack free. Get caught and you're banned off all the servers. Not that it matters to a real hacker with endless amounts of cd-keys...
I couldn't agree more, I love Steam and they have done a good job but what annoys me about these latest games is that they come with a cheat option for online gameplay? It's like they encourage you
If you really think about it though are they encouraging cheating in general or knowing it's going to happen anyways they are attempting to control it. If it's controlled by the developer everyone has the same advantage using those built in cheats. No need to cheat against normal players when there is a game mode cheaters can go to.

i dont play online but it is deffinatly not the place for cheaters. unless perhaps that every one could use the cheat. (but then it wouldnt be defined as a cheat by microsoft)
i do like good cheats though. i sick of FPS games not putting controled cheats into their games. i still remember the old clasic cheats, IDDQD, IDKFA. thats the only two that come to mind, but almost all you need. like CoD4's cluster grenade cheat. i love that one, i just wish they had it for more thatn just grenades. COD: WaW came out with playable cheats but they were online only cheats.
that i think is the biggest killer for me, im getting braodband soon, but i still think it's retarded that games like, in CoD 4, you can only unlock and modify weapon sets If you play on line only or, as mentioned WaW, cheats that you can only use online.
what? as some one who only has dial up, i all of a sudden have no intrest in playing a game with fun cheats? that make s me madded than would playing someone that cheating online. hell, i dont really care a bout it that much, i'd go join another game. or just not play with that guy anymore.
