Nice! IMO, that's the best pic of your car I've seen (although your sig comes close).

I think the CL grille matches up perfect now with the front lip, heat exchanger, and plate. Before any of those it stood out way too much. I should have got the black one!

Raced Ferrari 360 Modena 55-105MPH. Dead even start both of us holding gear. Modena pulled a few feet higher RPM around 85MPH. Modena shifts and C32 pulls a few feet on it up to 105MPH. We both let off at that point. I think 4th gear on C32 would have pulled good on it 105-140MPH.

I don't really know what to say to this. I would say "Wow, that's awesome!" like I was surprised, but knowing your car, I'm not surprised.

Nice. I like the quality of the pic too.

Believe it or not took that I'm my Kodak POS...

Went 155MPH tonight! Fastest I've gone in the C32. I figured 4th would shift at 150, but it must be 160. Running powerful in the cold temperatures with new heat exchanger...

Road trip to Virginia Tech. Now.

How long would that take from NM at 180MPH?
Changed the oil today. Had 5-6k miles on it Mercedes recommends 10-12k. 8.5 liter of Mobil-1 0w40 nearly $80 dollars. Filter is $15... The engine has felt rough for a while but a lot better after.

I've always noticed that with my mom's car. When she is due for an oil change, it doesn't run nearly as smooth as when she's recently had an oil change.

Bought a carbon fiber trunk spoiler $100 shipped. Couldn't pass up that deal, and I've been wanting one.

Will do... C32 has been shifting like crud after I did the full transmission flush. I used a brand called FEBI for the fluid. Called the company, and the support guy told me both Mercedes and FEBI are supplied by the same chemical company. Said the FEBI meets all MB specifications, and is likely the exact same fluid. Now I'm considering doing another full flush to see if she shifts better. Using the OE MB fluid this time. That'll be another couple hundreds, and hours of work once again. Something feels off with the engine lately. More vibration. It's bothering me...

It's so too cold right now to install the trunk spoiler. 20-45F but the 3M tape has to be applied 65+F. Test fit it though. Looks good!

That sucks. You don't need any more car troubles.

Don't you have a garage?
12-12-2010, 10:45 PM
Yes, but it's packed full of all the holiday decorations, and lots of other stuff. I was thinking about heating up both the 3M, and trunk section with a blow drier maybe...

Trunk spoiler installed today. Looks good! Have a cellphone picture, but I don't want to post that. Will get some better photographs here soon.
