This is the second Mercedes-benz I've owned. First one was totaled after someone rear ended me going a little over 50MPH. It was a 2002 C230 Kompressor Sportcoupe. The C32 AMG has a 3.2lt supercharged v6. It has 350hp/tq stock, and is capable of putting out 400WHP after modifications. Cool

Here are some photographs are I spent several hours cleaning up the exhaust with turtle wax chrome polisher. Also, a photograph after adding clear side indicator covers, and last one showing the new CL style grille with flat hood emblem... Cool

My favorite of those pictures is the last one, the one you use for your signature. I believe that grille looks really good on your car. I believe you really got a good deal on that vehicle, and I'm sure it's fun to drive!
The interior is slick!
I'm thinking what needs to be done now is clear headlight lenses instead of the OEM foggy lens. Cost about $70 dollars on ebay, but you have to remove the front bumper, and entire headlight assembly to install them. Lots of work... Might as well buy the upgraded intercooler, and do that at the same time since the bumper will be off already. The new intercooler is one of the best performance upgrades you can start with. The supercharger heats up air a lot! So far the engine is still stock... Smile
Very very very very nice car, and I can see you really look after them lol
If I come to visit can I drive it , You can follow me on my Hog . and yes it will keep up.

So is that like a crotch rocket or what, I had a Kawasaki 400 and numerous other bikes when I was your age. but I liked the 400 because it was smaller an more maneuverable, it was big enough to go cross country and small enough to take off road through the woods.
Nice and yeah it's basically a rocket, 0-60 1.8s and top speed of about 210Mph. I love it weighs about 195kg's with petrol so not light lol

I know some one else who has something similar to that, I tried sitting on it and there was no way I could have road that thing, I had to lay down on the tank just to operate it and break my neck to see where I was going.
Not sure if I would let you two drive it right away... Smile There's only two people who have drove the C32 since I bought it. My brother, and my girlfriend. Smile

You talking to me, Come on man - I drive over a 1000 miles a week and have been doing so for over 14 years now and have only had one automobile accident witch was back in 97 or 98 when I totaled my pickup during a bad rain storm oh yea and the bike accident, but that was different I was run off the road. But really I was just pulling your chain I wouldn't let you ride My bike unless I new you had experience with a heavy bike Its easy to drop one if you don't know what you doing and at over $20,000 I might get a little upset if you scratched it.
Changed the front brake pads today over at my brothers place. It was very easy to change the pads. Just had to depress the pistons with flat head against the pads, knock out two pins, and then both pads slide out without any problems. Replaced the brake pad wear sensor on the passenger side. Really only tools required would be flat head, pliers, hammer, and small drill bit... You don't even have to loosen the caliper at all! Smile

At first we were not sure what to do, and decided removing the four main bolts showing directly on the front of caliper, and four on rear would be obvious way to start. Turns out those four bolts hold the calipers fluid tank, and removing them brake fluid started to leak out. That shouldn't happen changing pads... Ended up with almost no brake pressure until we bleed the side we removed those bolts on. Got some air in the system... Smile
I would like to attempt calculating the highest horsepower C32 engine setup.

21-22PSI of boost. Eurocharged 185MM Overdrive Kit $850. +40HP/TQ
Custom Cold Air Intake $200. +25HP/TQ - 65HP - $1050
LET Stage 2 ECU Tune $600. +30HP/TQ - 95HP - $1650
NGK Iridium IX w/ Magnecore 85 wires $250. +10HP/TQ - 105HP - $1900
Eurocharged Heat Exchanger w/ HE Separation $350. +10HP/TQ - 115HP - $2250
Johnson CM30 HE Pump $200. +5HP/TQ - 115HP - $2450
Nitrous Oxide 35/55/75HP Kit $600. +80HP/TQ - 195HP - $3050
C02 Heat Exchanger Spray kit $400. +20HP/TQ - 215HP - $3450
Short Headers $800. +20HP/TQ - 235HP - $4250
Full High Flow Exhaust System $1000. +10HP/TQ - 245HP - $5250

600WHP/630WTQ give or take. I gave an extra 30WTQ, because most setups seem to produce even higher torque than horsepower. Is the engine, and transmission is capable of supporting this amount of power? I would have to say the engine would be, but maybe not the tranny... Remember too the 600WHP is gained through the use a full 75 shot of nitrous oxide. So normal HP would be in the low 500 range. You wouldn't use the HE spray kit usually either... Including shipping for all parts, and installation for the exhaust assuming you install everything yourself looking at around $6000 dollars.

So I wonder what kind of numbers this C32 would be capable of... 0-60MPH acceleration of low three seconds? Quarter miles with drag radials, and racing fuel in high or low tens maybe even lower? That would be something to see in person! Assuming a correct tune is done, and the speed limiter was removed it would be capable of 178MPH!

It's so nice how you can buy a vehicle like this that originally cost $60k or more for around $12k with 90k miles nearly 8 years old. Spend an extra $8k or so, and end up at $20k with a 600HP C32 AMG... Most of them are still in excellent condition. Mine was... This C32 would easily take a pullied, and ecu updated e55 v8 kompressor.
