A game known to make the most top end computers look like they are standing still, but here you will find out if it is worth it.

Crysis is a game created by Crytek and is a First Person Shooter or FPS as many go by. The game is fairly old being released in 2007, but it still sports the best graphics of any game out there. We here at Technofyed got a copy and decided to give it a once over.

Crysis starts on a plane with the rest of your team and the visuals on the plane are stunning, you then parachute out of the plane and must reach the L-Zone but predictably your parachute fails. After meeting with your team you then start your mission which is supposed to be search and rescue but that doesn't last long when one of your team members is killed by an unknown villain.

As the game progresses the visuals begin to stun and wow you, I mean I dont think I have ever seen water in a game that looks so real and the jungle back drop is very realistic. The weapons have a high detail which is exellent and even the people themselfs look real.

The levels are very large and beautiful but every level seems to look and feel exactly the same as the last but you dont really have enough time to concentrate at that as you are constantly doing battle with the North Koreans, All together there is about 10 Levels (with 8 looking the same) which is very good.

The gameplay is exellent with the Nano-Suit adding a little bit extra into the mix with its Maximum Strength, Armor, Speed and Cloaking Device. This is also incorparated into the online gameplay but we'll leave that for another day. The action is fast and the gun fights seem real and pull you in, This is one of the most intense FPS's I have ever played and it will probably be the same for you.

The only critacism I have for this game (Major One) is the new "Cryengine" that was developed by Crytek for this game. Constant audio jumping, crashes and patch after patch to try and fix this, this let's down the game a hole lot and they should have waited until the Cryengine was finished before release.

Overall it's and exellent game with one major draw back but I would recomend to any fan of the FPS Genre.

Gameplay: 8/10
Graphics: 10/10
Story: 6/10
Unlockables: 4/10
Replay: 7/10
Overall: 5/10

I would never be able to run Crysis on my computer. It's about 5 years old, and I haven't made any major upgrades since I got it.
