I doubt it happened either, but you have to admit that he made some really funny bloopers in his days in office. If you search YouTube for "hilarious" (Yes, I was that bored one day), a video of his bloopers is on the first page of results.
Was this it? See, someone would only compile something like this because they have no life and/or they want to make him look bad by throwing all his blunders into one short film. Of course by seeing only a few seconds of each instance (if that) you aren't getting the full context of the circumstances of the blunder. Ok so maybe he wasn't any good at giving speeches (or at least ab-libbing them which it sounded like he was doing), but why make fun of him?
You may be a supported of Bush, but keep in mind a large portion of the population was unsatisfied with his performance in office as our president. Sure they man was faced with one of the worst terrorist attacks in history, and of course we were not going to do nothing about it. I personally think he did a decent job with the war against terror, but he just has this attitude, and demeanor about him that says, "I shouldn't be the leader of a country."
Which is when people whine that he didn't do anything. Well if neither the house nor congress will approve anything, there wouldn't have been much he could do.
Sorry, but this is really starting to annoy me. Let me clearly state my political stance on the subject of the Bush administration. To me it really comes down to this... Bill Clinton was able to finally pull our country out of total debt. This was because of the fact that the democrats did mainly hold office for a decade. Our country is now more in debt that it ever has been in recent times. Again, I don't completely blame this on Bush or republicans because of the war of terror. It is my opinion though that the matter could have been taken care of in a more efficient and cost effective way.
I highly doubt that he could have brought us out of trillions of dollars and decades in debt in only 8 years. Now maybe at the end of the year the government wasn't in the black for the year but not in debt at all? Give me a break. If so, prove it to me.
No, but the budget was balanced, and our country was working towards a start of getting out of debt... Bush accomplished setting our country back more than five trillion dollars.
Bush had to pull the country through the worst terrorist attack in our nation's history and one of the worst ever and I think that he did a darn good job. Can you imagine doing so? Of course he had to take us to war. I'll grant you that it should already be over yet and it isn't (even with Obama in office) and we still haven't entirely reached our objective.
So, the war was against Osama bin Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden, and the al-Qaeda terrorist group, right? If that were the case this war would have been over many years ago...
