He didn't seem so disappointed about not getting on the show. I wouldn't be disappointed either if I became famous overnight like that. That's what people sign up for that show for, right?
He didn't seem disappointed to me either. Now keep in mind I've only watched the video once, but I think he said "I wrote a song, can I sing it for you?"
I think he wanted to get his message out. As silly as that sounds, I think that's all he wanted to do was to get his message onto TV about his disapproval of the way youths dress down.
That may have been the case. He didn't sounds all that surprised either, which suggests that he might have known about the age limit before he went on the show.
