So, how's everyone doing?

Seems all we have to talk about lately is some very overpriced old Nintendo games.

I stayed awake last night for a job related meeting at 7AM. Slept 12 to 8PM today. It felt good!

Although I do hate it when a days wasted sleeping...

Maybe if it was warmer outside I would go out, and do some stuff!

What's up with all these emoticons?

Well I am swamped with stuff to do. I'm trying out for the soccer team at school. I'm totally out of shape, so I come home every night and I can barely walk because I'm so sore. The coach is very thorough, and I hear the team usually does very well. I just hope to make it (both make it on the team and make it physically).
Also, as you've probably noticed, I've had a bunch of laptops to work on recently. I have screws strewn across my room right now from a laptop I've been working on. I need to get that out of the way.
Recently I've been watching the Olympics. That Gold Medal Hockey game was torturous to watch. The way the US lost was not fun to watch, but at least they got Silver.
Finally, I've been working on college stuff like scholarships, the FAFSA, etc. I need to submit my dining plan soon. I have to make sure I have my food situation straight!
If you have been missing me on an instant messenger, I took my Pidgin IM client out of startup so that I would be more focused on stuff I have to do. It does help some, but I miss talking to you guys. Anyways, that's what I've been up to. What about the rest of you guys?
Still doing my online tech support mostly. They talked me into taking phone calls to which is taking up more time. Need to be working on my resume.

Also applying for jobs. Had another phone interview with IBM. That would make 3 phone interviews and one webcam interview for different positions. The webcam interview was in place of a face to face something I appreciated.
I hope you can get something soon. Have you had a job since you graduated college?
I had one until last may.
Um i've been pretty busy doing things by time i get to chill all i wanna do is lay down lol
You and me both, Guru. When I get home from soccer practice, I have to do that for a little while.
Working on a contract with a local business to do repairs on 85 end user PC's.
This & 3 new web site clients.
w00t ... over worked, ftw
Considering this economy, that's a lot better than underworked.
Yes. This is why I said 'w00t' & 'ftw'.

Good to see everyone is keeping busy at least... Good luck on the job hunt townsbg. I agree Guru, when there's the time I just want to relax, but there's so much other stuff to be done. Any updates on the Soccer team RWenger? No2, don't work yourself to death!

I have an important phone interview with IBM tomorrow. I might post more about it in the staff section later.

I've been going to practice every day, and it's been getting better. I'm building a little bit of stamina. We learn who is on the team Friday.

Good luck! Let us know what happens. How many interviews have you had with them?
3 phone & 1 webchat for various positions.
I interviewed for a manager position at Sears, and it went good. Not sure if I'll get the position though...

why don't you think you'll get it?
Around five other people applied for the position. Several of which have been working at Sears longer, and have more manager experience.
It's been a good week work wise. One of the best (if not the best) that I've had at that job thus far. Over half of what I made last mostly from my newest partner certification. It really would have been a bad week if it weren't for that. I'm starting to be on the phone a lot for that position (although not as much this week as last because at times I turned that option off). Its gotten to where we need to be able to help take their phone calls for an online position--go figure.
Still haven't heard about that IBM position and I'm not sure how the interview went. I've decided not to think about that because I didn't think I did to well on the previous one yet I did good enough that I got another one. I really would like to get hired there. That would look good on my resume. I'm "under review" for 10 positions and most of which are at the same location as the one I interviewed for. I'm not thrilled about the location but I could think of worse places to live. Maybe a couple of years there and I'd move somewhere else that I'd rather live at either with IBM or with someone else. So how has everyone else's week been? Not too much activity this week?
So, nothing from anyone the last few days? Something wrong?
