I do this with 'k' & 'd' all the time. As well when I get typing REALLY fast, if a word ends with th like 'with', & the next word is 'the', I end up with something like 'withe'.

I actually noticed that I did it before I sent the message, but I thought you would find it amusing.

happens to me all the time though i'll admit that most of the time i don't even bother going back to fix the error i just hope the person knows what i mean
