I'll admit, I'm a little older. Just like any thing else in life, this has it's advantages & disadvantages. Lately I've been trying (really hard) to get on the Web 2.0 social media scene & push some of our products, but I'm finding myself out of touch. So I'm hoping that maybe you FaceBook users & Twitterers can help me out a little
Recently FaceBook changed fan pages to "like" pages. I have one of these setup for my Yard Sales Galore website. The problem that I am having is, I'm not sure why anyone would want to use this thing. What makes someone want to be a fan? What does one expect to find on a fan page? What is my fan page missing? What can bring in more fans &/or give them a better fan experience on our FaceBook page? I've been looking into FBML code, but for the life of me I can't see where to implement it! Do I type this somewhere, or is it something I click to install on the page? I'm lost!
As for Twitter, what makes you want to follow someone? Are their tweets insightful? Humorous? Personal? What should I expect others to be expecting when posting Tweets?
Thank you
