Decided to add this movie to my Netflix. It's portrayed as a documentary with real events of video and audio recordings intertwined in the plot. Remember the Blair Witch Project? The supposed recordings were very believable, and disturbing. Overall, well done! However, after watching of course I had to research. Search results online show the movie was a complete fabrication. Very disappointing!
The fun thing about the Blair Witch project was that before the movie came out, they actually created a website, & some other 'cannon fodder' to make research results show or at least seem very realistic.
They did the same thing for this movie. Only information about the main character, a woman psychologist, was on a website created in 2009... Right before the movie was released. They actually settled out of a lawsuit for twenty grand because of the misinformation.
