Does anyone know anything about TrueCrypt? I ask because when I get the system set back up I have to encrypt it but this time I was thinking of using it instead of PGP provided that I'm allowed to.

TrueCrypt is a software application used for on-the-fly encryption. It is free in terms of cost and commercial usage, and open source. It can create a virtual encrypted disk within a file or encrypt a partition or the entire storage device.
