After a month of using the G2 decided I could give a review on this phone. In comparison to my old Sidekick there is so much more I could go on and on. A big part of this phone is being android capable as part of the android marketplace. There are countless applications, games, etc, that can be downloaded for free or purchased. A handy one I found uses the camera's flash LED to create a flashlight which is actually very bright on full power.

These new phones really are amazing. I'm especially impressed by the number of sensors built into them. GPS, Accelerometer, Magnet, Orientation, Proximity, and a Light sensor on the G2. One free application is a compass that even shows your altitude, and the amount of Tesla's for the surrounding magnetic field. The game Labyrinth is very realistic with the orientation sensor. The accelerometer, and GPS can be used to clock 0-60MPH, 1/4th mile, and top speed runs.

Not really sure what data network my sidekick was running on it showed "G2", but it was insanely slow. The 4G is much faster, and the network coverage in my area is good. The phones browser is easy to work with, and the full qwerty keypad helps a lot. One of my favorite features on the G2 is "tethering". This is where you can create a wireless or wired (USB) internet connection using your phones data network. Of course you also have the ability to connect to wireless or wired network on your phone allowing faster mb/s than the 4g network.
Nice. Whatever works for you.
Sounds cool. Do you have any pictures of the phone?
