I had a Lexmark printer (Z600) a while ago that wouldn't work well. It would print a few sheets of text, but then it wouldn't print any more until I installed a new ink cartridge. The cartridges wouldn't last any time at all, and I didn't print very frequently either. Sometimes I could cajole the printer into printing in 90% gray, which looks the same as black. Other times the printer wouldn't print correctly at all and would feed the paper straight through without trying to put down any ink. Since then, I got a HP printer and it works wonderfully. It rarely needs new ink cartridges, even though I print many papers for school on it.

Have you guys had any problems with Lexmark printers in the past?
My brother was using this printer but I am not satisfied with the result of this one. Better you go for HP printers
As you explain here it seems that there is problem in head of your Lexmark printers.
