So it's a Nintendo DS merged with an iTouch (iPhone). Awesome. Microsoft steals more products from other successful companies.

Perspective. Some might say steal while others say improve or combine. One word is revolutionize. So what if it just happens to look like several different products? Some don't mind that but I guess you are one to despise that.
They've been doing it since DOS ... & it's worked out well for them. Financially.
Looks like a good design to me. They might have got some ideas from the other manufacturers, but they didn't steal the entire plan... Smile

Exactly. That happens in every industry.
You know all the patents are just waiting to be modified slightly so someone can claim it as their design...

It does seem like Microsoft has done a lot of idea-sharing since their creation.

I saw the video of the tablet, and I don't see many advantages over a laptop. If you were interviewing someone and taking notes, maybe it would be useful. Personally I am much more comfortable with typing than writing, so the idea of a tablet just sounds dumb to me. When they wrote the website address into the address bar, my first thought was "It wouldn't be able to recognize my handwriting."

agreed.. I like the option to do so in some ways.. but in the long run id be looking for my keyboard...
