Hello,

How do I create a server environment in Kubuntu KDE 2 (i think)..

Like with Xampp for windows?

This really isn't a programming question.

You need to issue sudo apt-get install apache2 from the command prompt.

There is a full walk through available here. Sorry that I don't have more specific information. My background with Apache is through manual installations on Unix servers. With Ubuntu (based) you should use apt-get for updating reasons.

Once you have installed I can help with Apache configuration issues.
